A bit late now but our local TK Maxx has lots of top brand suncream at the moment, including things like P20 and various other sports/swim specific ones.0

Week 19: Day 6
Phew, nearly the weekend! It's been a long week. Still need to get through a conference call while managing DC3 too, which should be entertaining. I may crack out the chocolate buttons.
Can't believe we're still a week from the end of the month, it's been going on forever! I always feel like I'm just marking time from about the 20th, ready to get onto the next month and the next chunk of debt payments. I need to start working out how much invoices are going to be this month - my business account is not looking healthy after all the spends on improving the front of the house, and I want to put my cushion back in place!
to do today:
1. Clear ironing, which has become a mountain.
2. Phone national trust - no new cards have arrived, despite DD coming out a few weeks ago.
3. social media for work, especially smaller business.
4. Make naan breads.
5. bake a cake to celebrate the end of the week, we all need it this week I think.
6. Buy marshmallows - I am having a movie night with DC2 and 3 tonight while DH takes DC1 to the cinema.
to do this week:
1. Make picket fence. Finally finished painting, hurrah!
2. Go through camping stuff and plan what we need for the summer's camping trips.
3. Keep focusing on smaller business while main business is quiet. Going well.
Trying to figure out a whole new life. Trying to figure out a whole new budget.

We're having an expensive month too, so i feel your pain.
Not sure what your standpoint is or how old your child is, but my four year old would be more than delighted with 30 minutes in front of CBeebies with an array of snacks on a plate! Pretty sure he wouldn't utter a word...or blink probably. My two year old, on the other hand, would only be occupied for about 3 minutes in front of the TV before losing interest and choosing the noisiest toy he can find. Good luck in getting through the conference call!CC1: £4481.14/ £5031.14 (12% paid off, £600) | CC2:£3307/ £3807 (14.4% paid off, £550) | Loan: £10,528.20/ £15,792.30((33% paid off, £5,264))

I share your pain re the end of the month TOPM. Five Fridays of main shopping plus 12 lovely friends for afternoon tea and dinner last weekend means my budget is shot to pieces this month. And I have just paid for the villa we are staying in, in August.
Also, I will be getting all our camping gear out and checking gas bottles, ice packs and tents for mildew this weekend, prompted by your to-do list - I have already noted a birds nest in the top of the bag with the collapsible table in  - this is because we stayed in a B&B last year, for this annual trip, because it was so close to our proper holiday departure and we were not confident of drying any wet stuff. It was lovely (upstairs in an Inn) but much more expensive and away from our friends. That will teach me to check our stuff properly! :rotfl:Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far
I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the Grow your own thread

I always feel like that. By about 25th I start thinking the month is over and then resent putting all the last few days spends into YNAB because I end up having to juggle the budget amounts around!
Well done finishing the paintingGC Feb 2019 (to 10th) £397.07/£3000
