Thanks Sheils sorry to hear you have had so much rain. Continuous rain is depressing. Do hope it's clear for you today.

Rose hope you have a good walk and shopping trip.

Sunny here so far. I'm going to try to prune a bush by the wall. It comes to life later so should be ok. Don't know name but has small blue flowers.

Hope everyone is well. Good luck all.

    Hi everyone :hello:

Hope you're all ok. It's a beautiful day here - sunny, bright n'
breezy. I can feel the garden calling me! :D

Great you've been out gardening leanfun. Absolutely fascinated
by the Robins in America so googled to find out more about
them. As you say .... they are bigger than ours and look at
the explanation re the name .....

    Q. Why are these birds called American robins?

    A. Robins were named by homesick European settlers for their
beloved and familiar little Robin Red-breast, :grinheart which has
a color pattern brighter but somewhat similar to our robin, though
the two species are not closely related. :p

Awww - just love that. :p

:j Very well done with your cash win from Pick Me Up - a
    lovely surprise!

Hope you manage to get a walk in today sheils and that
the rain stayed away while you were out and about this
    morning rose.

Good luck for EOM catch up and wins - have a lovely Friday
    all and take care. :)

Hi everyone, lovely and sunny here today but there is still a nip in the air.

Hope it stays sunny for you Rose so you can get what you want from the shops.

I need to prune a rose just outside my front door leanfun and generally tidy things up out there too.

Thanks for the info on the Robins firefly/Alfie lovely reading about it.

Hope you manage a nice walk today Sheils and that the rain has stopped for you.

Must get on and get the hoover out as been out all morning.

Had an email from APC transport yesterday saying they were deliver products from Astonish, didn't get an email so not sure where it is from, anyway missed the delivery so need to re-arrange. Cleaning products always come in useful, still got lots left from the last delivery from them LOL. Will have to share it with the familly this time.

    Have a lovely day everyone.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

Just got home as rain started. It has turned windy and cold here as well. Saw a fabulous hearse when I was out. That sounds wrong but it was. It looked like an old war time grocery delivery box type van that had been converted with glass on sides and back. Bought a fab pair of straight leg jeans for myself from Primark. They have loads of nice stuff at the moment. Also bought a few things for grandkids for summer and nice gift bag for birthday pressie and for when my nieces baby is due. They are a lot cheaaper than the card shop and quality is just as good. Hope you get in to the garden alfie. I will wait a couple of weeks before I sort out my tubs and hanging baskets as bulbs are still flowering. DS is going to remove gravel from under my living room and dining room window and dig it for me so I can get some bedding and larger plants in. So will have to order up some decent top soil and feed etc to mix with it as well as compost. Hope you are all having a rain free day. Shiels get out for a walk when you can. I do not mind being at home but when I want out. Can understand your frustration.

    Happy Friday all!

I've been up early as the birds seemed to have been over joyed this morning, I need better windows. But I've been busy catching up with the washing, entering competitions and hoping to get the garden sorted tomorrow if the weather holds out.

    Congratulations on everyone's wins! :T

I haven't been to Primark for awhile Rose, I'm glad you managed to get out and get some stuff, sounds like you got back just in time.
