Morning everyone. Been raining here overnight but quite bright now. Well done on wins peeps. Have a mountain of e/mails to check as not really been checking as IBS has been playing up and not felt like switching on PC. Hope everyone is well. Good luck with WEM's as it is the end of the month so fingers crossed.

Just had to share this ......

'Robin numbers visiting British gardens this winter hit a 20-year
high, with waxwing sightings also considerably up on recent years.

    3607620.jpg?display=1&htype=0&type=responsive-gallery

That’s according to the results of the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch
2017, which saw more than 497,000 people take part in the 2017
birdwatch count to record over 8 million birds in January.

The survey found that the average number of robins visiting
gardens is at its highest level since 1986, helping the species climb
two places to number seven, its joint highest-ever position in the
Big Garden Birdwatch rankings. Blackbird was another success
story, moving to number three and becoming the UK’s most
widespread garden bird after being spotted in more than 93% of
    UK gardens.

In addition, waxwings were seen in around 11 times more gardens
in 2017, compared to the last couple of years, while goldfinch
numbers have been found to increase by 44% since 2007. Large
numbers of waxwings are only seen in large numbers once every
seven to eight years in the UK.'

Sadly not so many sightings recorded this year of the blue tits,
great tits and coal tits - apparently due to the prolonged wet
weather during the 2016 breeding season fewer young birds
    survived.

Thanks for the Robin link Alfie. GKs made a bird feeders with their mother from a plastic bottles and wooden spoons and have had a robin feed from them. Needless to say they are used to bigger robins. In America they are much bigger.

McCulloch thanks for the link. I too look at that site no win yet over £15 bonus.

Rose hope you feeling better now.

Sheils great you had a good month.

Well I'm in late as I was determined to do some gardening before I posted. Well I have been out the back and cut the grass so it's a start. Garden is not very big as we have a garage at the bottom.

Well done on veggie book win Firefly. Thought of you today with all the comps and you doing puzzles.

Yesterday I had a great surprise £25 in the post from Pick Me Up posted by Jaibaby.

Well done catching up Alfie. I've been s desperately trying to get through the end of months.

Hope everyone is well. Good luck everyone.

as he is quite an expert we're all very happy to let the younger fitter ones help :j
