I had never heard of a Rainbow baby Alfie. It is a nice term.
Hope you get to see the baby soon. My DD was 8lb 12oz. Two of my nephews' babies have been over 10lbs! One of their wives is tiny too so bit of a shock. Think babies are getting bigger these days.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Congrats on the win Mummy2threeboys!
Hope you get to see new baby soon Alfie! I was 9lbs 1/4oz when I was born. The heaviest in my family. My poor mother!! I went 2 weeks overdue with my DD, and DH was 9lb 3oz at birth, so I was expecting her to be huge, but she was 7lb 15oz at two weeks over!
Won a 'sweet treat' from an Instagram comp yesterday. No idea what it is. Assume it's a pack of sweets/chocolate. We'll see.
Still waiting on the graphic novels. I chased up on Monday and they apologised and said they would chase distributer, but nothing yet. When is reasonable to chase again? Monday, or later?
Lucky dust to all!

:hello: Good morning everyone
Hope you're all ok - it's another beautiful start to the day here
though a tad chilly at the mo! Brrrrrrr!
Crikes sheils and euronorris - my eyes are watering just
thinking about the baby weights!
My daughter is tiny too (takes after me) so I really felt her
pain!
Talking of babies :grinheart - earlier this morning I read this
wonderful article and posted it in the Betty thread - I'm sure
all the publicity will help them immensely. :A
Tiny hats needed with colour coded pom-poms for
newborn babies.
Are you a keen knitter? Well, Bath's maternity unit is asking for
help.
Staff have introduced a new woolly hat system for their newborn
babies - and they need five thousand knitted per year, to keep up
with demand.

^^Please scroll down to view video
and also this update from Bath Maternity facebook feed:
*UPDATE* Crochet is great too!!
Calling all knitters AND CROCHETERS!! Bath Birth Centre need
these...please!
Plain white hats with red, orange and green bobbles for our
newborn babies. 34-38cms circumference.
I’m afraid they do have to be white with red, orange and green
Pom-poms. It’s to make everyone aware of babies that need
different levels of care after birth, and ensure that extra checks on
higher risk babies are not missed (red bobble indicating the
highest level of care, so needing lots of additional observations and
warmth)

and article from Bath Hospital here:
The tiny hats must be plain white with a red, amber or green pom-
pom, and sized between 34-38cms. They can be sent to the Bath
Birthing Centre or to Mary Ward at the Bath RUH.

Good Morning,
Got drizzly rain here this morning which is annoying. Luckily most washing is up to date though (even ironing!)
I'm afraid my knitting isn't up to making hats Alfie.
Loving Ff and your pics though.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

Hello everyone! I've not been here in such a long time (my little ones don't give me a minute
)
Can anyone remind me how to order the competitions so the best (biggest prizes) are shown first? (Not just the ones with the most comments etc).
I won a Captain Birdseye toy this morning - the little people will be pleased.0 -

hi Farmers-wife :hello:
I use these links if it helps as it shows the new comps posted that don't have any 'bumps/comments' on
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=71252760&postcount=4
Order by Date Ending
Order by newly posted
If you use the search function to search for a date - it will only show a max of 200 results,
no good for end of month comps where there are lots more.
.............
this link
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=72&daysprune=-1&order=desc&sort=popularity&filter=stickies
shows the 'most viewed' comps though they are sometimes the
ones with the 'comments' on,
hope these help & well done

Good Morning,
Sun is shining away here - nice change from the drizzle that went on all day yesterday. Hopefully get the washing out and get out for a nice walk.
There isn't much left of October now. Suppose I will need to start thinking of Xmas although still have parents birthdays next month. Can never think of anything to give them.
Anyway, hope everyone has a lovely day.
