Well we are back, decided to stay a second night so booked a points freebie and had a day out at Scone Palace. Have always meant to go there so something else ticked off. We used Tesco Tokens to pay for it and the sun came out for us to walk around the grounds. We had a lovely day to come home today too and had our first trip across the Queensferry Crossing. Didn't miss the old Forth Road Bridge as it was so bumpy to get across. It was lovely to catch up with DS2 and his gf and see their new house which is in the countryside. DS2 meaning to grow his own veg and keep ducks etc!
Not having a lucky month but I haven't been entering that many comps really. Well done to all the winners though.

Shiels what an amazing break jealous! and very mse:beer:

Had Hospital appointment, I'm quite deaf apparently, but they did this manouvere Elys?? Or something for The vertigo and hope it helps my ears as well , it was like I had been thrown about on a rollercoaster than spins around very fast at the same time, Have to sleep sitting up for 3 nights , so far no change at all. Back in 6 weeks for next stage . At least I have a wonderful hubby and kids to help out round the house, all I can do on bad days in comp, kit and read. Mum gave me a stool for the washing up bless her, seems to help .

Anyway I am off to Wales in a couple of days on a sun holiday caravan park, treating my friend and her little boy as she has never been on a holiday. :( . Hope the wonderful weather continues. Much love and luck to all x

Supposed to be nice here for a few days but sun still seems to be sleeping! Got loads of washing to do and hang out so fingers crossed.
Yes DS2 and gf have really taken to the countryside. Wouldn't like to live there permanently even though I was brought up on farms.

See on FB that wingo made it to Blackpool .

mummy2threeboys your treatment doesn't sound nice but hope it helps.
Where abouts in Wales are you going?

Did you make pasta last night FF?

Hope everyone has a lovely and lucky day.

Firefly well done on win. Great prize for a present and well timed.

mothertothreeboys your treatment doesn't sound too good but hope it is going to work for you. Hang in there. (Hugs) comping is s great hobby.

Sheils pleased you saw your DSs new home. Sounds as though they are really enjoying it. Pleased to hear you enjoyed break. Great that Wingo has made it to Blackpool.

Well yesterday was a strange day. Early afternoon the neighbour who lost her husband came over. She has a heart problem and had pains in chest and was breathless and looked very grey we don't know how she crossed the road as sometimes it is very busy. We called an ambulance which came quickly and our local hospital was brilliant. Tests came back that she had not had heart attack. Nowadays they do more tests after three hours and then when she was all clear was able to come home. One of her DSs and partner came and brought us home. Ambulance staff and hospital were wonderful yet they have a dreadful press. When NHS works it's brilliant.

Alfie thanks for the pasta day info when I can take it in more I will reread.

Better crack on now. Fortunately no GS yesterday or today but tomorrow.

    Take care and good luck.

    :hello: Hi all!

It was a beautiful day yesterday, sunny and very warm -
tad cloudy today but still a lovely temperature. The sun is
trying to peek out in between the clouds as I type. soleilnuage.gif

Good luck with your exam in November euronorris - I'm
sure you'll pass with flying colours! :T

leanfun - the youngsters don't seem to have any fear at
all re heights etc - whereas we on the other hand ....:eek:
I bet GS had a brilliant time though at the new park - he'll
be wanting to go there again - bet he's looking forward to
tomorrow! :D So sorry to hear of your poorly neighbour -
must have given you a shock seeing her looking so unwell.
So pleased that she received appropriate care at your local
hospital. I agree with you re NHS - absolute angels. :A

 Welcome back sheils. Sounds as if you both had
a wonderful time. Love the sound of DS2 wanting to grow
his own veg and keeping ducks.:p

I most certainly agree with you re tripe mummy2threeboys!
Disgusting stuff! I can recall trying tripe on one of my lovely
dogs :A (alas long gone now) and he hated the smell so
much when I opened the can that he legged it out of the
door. Couldn't get away fast enough! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I do hope that your health slowly improves and all goes
well with the next round of treatment. xxx Meanwhile have
a wonderful break in Wales with your friend and her little
boy - you are such a kind soul. :A xxx

:T Big congratulations on your lovely win fire**fly! It will
be a lovely Xmas pressie for your niece. :T :D :j

Your cauli cheese macaroni meal sounded scrumptious -
many thanks for sharing the link - will be making that next
    week!
