Been a nice morning here but looking cloudy now.
Had a busy morning shopping. DD coming for dinner tonight. She is having a hard time on placement as it is a cancer ward and 3 people have died already (so far) on the 2 days she has been there. Pretty sure I couldn't do what she does.
Must get on, good luck for November everyone.

Good Morning,

Beautiful looking morning here so hope it remains like that!
DH and I are going to get haircuts this morning - desperately needed.
Sister is a hairdresser so we are going to her. Need to have some conversations about parents anyway so kill two birds with one stone.
Don't know if I mentioned it but I won a Spa morning with one treatment and lunch on FB the other week and the voucher arrived yesterday. It is at a hotel about 2 hrs away, thought I was entering for a nights stay! Will be able to use it on our way somewhere else though.

Had a lovely meal with DD thanks FF. I made a creamy chicken, leek and brocolli pie which went down well. (DD not as keen on my steak pie as the rest of the family.) She says she is enjoying the placement and doing well but wishes patients would stop dying. Seemingly she has been really unlucky with the amount of deaths as sometimes they don't have any for weeks.

The cat pic reminded me so much of DD's cat when she first got him Alfie. He always has so much to say.

Ive been having serious problems with iPad battery need to go to apple shop. Now on laptop which I find slow going after laptop.

On Tuesday about 5.30 I found a TW win of tickets to our local theatre for a performance of a modern update on The Magic Flute for that evening. message only sent 2.30. Well we made it there. Singing and music were very good and it was a different experience but we decided opera is definitely not for us. So I won't be going informed any more opera tickets.

Yesterday I had a call from Mums Net to say Id won two tickets to the new Pokemon film at the weekend. They kindly gave us three tickets for GKs in Scotland, their mother is able to take them. They are Pokemon mad so will be so excited.

Then while at DD1s picking up GS from school I had email to say I had won more Pokemon tickets. DD says she will take GS.

So Ive been on a roll with tickets this week.

Been busy here last few days. Just been reading back thanks for all the pics very cheery. Thanks for the Buddas Firefly. loved the little one.

Totally forgot I had a fish slice arrive on Tuesday. Occasionally Ive been going on TW it seems to have life of its own. I wasn't sure how to private message so didn't know where the address went and thought that was it and forgot about it. very nice fish slice too.
