brilliant if he wins! :T :j Comping is definitely catching!
I've started sprucing up my lounge now ... it was needing
doing - made a start yesterday - it's looking much better
already - I've never been one to rest on my laurels!
The furniture is all over the place - puddy is happy though -
she's used to my ways- she's been playing hide n' seek
inbetween the bits and pieces and having a few ninja cat
moments! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Master of Stealth!
Found the following info and posted it this morning in the
Betty thread .....
Apparently October 12, 1999 was known as the 'Day of 6
Billion' - the world population is now 7.6 Billion.
Brilliant link here if anyone's interested in world population ....

:hello: Good morning everyone
I hope you're all well on this Friday the 13th!
Many thanks for the Tipping Point link fire**fly. :A Guess
what - I forgot to watch it! Fiddlesticks! How did 'one of
our own' get on?
Well ... looks as if most of us are in for a fairly decent weather
weekend before the tail end of Storm Ophelia comes our
way! May be a tad windy!
Can't believe it's the anniversary of the Great Storm of
1987 this weekend! Poor Michael Fish! I can remember
the storm as if it happened yesterday.
19th April, 2013 by Chris Cox
Diageo has enlisted the services of infamous UK weatherman
Michael Fish to promote its new Talisker Storm release as it unveils
the world’s first interactive storm.
A 25ft-high installation has been designed to take the tempestuous
weather of Talisker’s home on the Isle of Skye around Europe to
promote its new Storm expression, kicking off on 24 April at 6-
9pm on the Southbank side of the Design Museum, London.
Intrepid members of the public will be invited to don wellies and
rain macs and venture into the heart of the storm, which features
a rough battering of wind, rain, lightning, fog and thunder.
Fish became infamous for his incorrect weather prediction on 15
October 1987, when he dispelled rumours of a hurricane that
hours later hit the south coast of England causing record damage
and killing 18 people. It has since become known as The Great
Storm. Naturally, Fish’s association with and knowledge of storms
makes him the perfect speaker to educate the crowds on Skye’s
weather system.

Gotta fly ... have a lovely and lucky day all and please take
