Good morning all, been raining during the night and can't make its mind up what to do now.
Hi firefly, had to go off and find another pic today as we going to post the same one as you LOL. Welll done on your win.
Lovely to see new peeps in the Inn, welcome to old and new and good luck
Such a shame about the hedghog Alfie.
DD came yesterday and sat piecing together her works diary to enable her to transfer to a new one. Guess who is responsible? You got it Douglas. The trouble is he is so long that he seems to be able to reach everywhere LOL.
Have a lovely day and good luck to you all.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Hi everyone DH and I are back from our favourite island Madeira. We were some of the thousands repatriated by the Civil Aviation Authority having flown with Monarch. Have to say they were very organised. Thompson's brought us back at the same time as our Monarch flight was due last night. The previous Monday there was chaos at Madeira airport due to windy conditions. Some friends due home that Monday didn't make it back till Thursday. Some people were hours enroute and were even brought back to Uk. So we were very lucky.
We have only just had breakfast here. DH did go shopping for us. Been trying to catch up but not taking it in will try again later. GKs here till middle next week.
Hope all are well and good luck everyone.
Yesterday evening DS brought his two children from Scotland down to Gatwick and we all met up there. It was after midnight before we were home. In Scotland half term is earlier than in England. Am trying to write this while they are chatting. At 8 and 5 now they seem quite grown up. GD 5 is nearly as tall as her brother. She's had a big growth spurt since the summer.0 -
Afternoon All!
Weird day yesterday. Had to move a dead pigeon from outside of the office door into the bushes. Poor thing just landed in front of the door, laid down and died!
Today, I met one of our team newbies at work. Turns out she's big into competitions and is on the forum!
Lucky dust to all!

Alfie blue ad firefly thanks for the recommendations, I'm not much of a tv person (i do like films though) Last thing I enjoyed was child in time. Think I prefer stories but get fed up with too many repeat series used to love prison break and orange is the new black but after so many series I find them a bit samey..too much of a book person .
Glad your feeling better Indie. sleep is great remedy x I keep getting a sore throat but goes away after an hour , 2 weeks thats been going on tisk, either come or go can't be doing with the messing about!
Euronorris thats a small world lol..could be worse hobbies to bond over!
Won a set of essential oils today which has lifted my mood so much, I was feeling so terribly despondent (I have severe depression) Not been on meds for 2 years but sadly I need to re-evaluate as I can feel stuff creeping back in..hoping to kick "it" back out the back door , "It" can stay out there !
Off tomorrow To a workshop at my local Cathedral then right after going to the Royal Albert Hall for the School proms, Then Thursday we Have Karate and a glass fusing workshop (We have been a home ed family for almost 5 years) , Tad busy at the mo , busy but enjoyable.
