Take care Rose. Hope you are better soon. Feel the same as you Rose about spiders.

Ho ho about house for sale Alfie and Firefly. On the one hand I like the idea of having it all done for you but love the privacy of not having other people coming in. Neighbour across the road whose husband died recently told me she has cleaners in and recommended them. She does have a bad heart condition. When I told DH he just looked at me and said nothing.

I used to moan at DH when we drove near Canterbury that he hadn't bought me a certain country house. It was a mansion in the countryside on a hill at the time for sale for about £4. Forgot to put million!

Hope someone in the Inn will be lucky this week.

Still raining here and set to continue until into tomorrow afternoon.
Getting fed up of it now! Taking car into Dumfries for service in morning so will be a long 2 or 3 hours waiting on it if we can't walk far.

Quidco has another of their instant win comps on, Won £76 on their last one so trying again but only won 50p so far.

Been raining here all afternoon as well shiels. Hopefully it will be off here tomorrow as well. Made myself a nice dinner and it has stayed down. Had a piece of poached fish (done in milk) and some vegetables. So not too heavy. Was going to make a sauce for fish but decided against it. Didn't get out again but tomorrow is a must so fingers crossed or it is going to cost a fortune in taxis as my energy level is really low and legs are still a bit wobbly. Hope everyone is well tonight.

    :hello: Good morning everyone

Best wishes to all. :) It sounds as if you are getting a
little better rose. Hope you slept well and manage to get
    out and about today. xx

Sorry to hear that your DD is poorly sylv - maybe there is
a nasty bug doing the rounds? Hope today finds her
feeling a little better too. xx

Good luck with the new Quidco instant win sheils - hope
you pick a winning moment! :T Have a lovely time in
    Dumfries whatever the weather. :p

I'm the same about spiders in the house rose & leanfun.
Don't mind them outside now but inside the house is a big
no no. Apparently September heralds the start of the mating
season and male spiders invade our homes in search of
    females.

On that note I'll just scuttle off and make myself a cuppa! :D

Have a lovely and lucky day all - please take care whatever
    you're up to. :)

Morning peeps. Not so nice here this morning. Legs not so wobbly today and did not sweat so much last night but had to strip bed again this morning so it will have another day of airing before it is made up again. One way or another I need to get out today so fingers crossed. Sorry to hear about your dd sylvia hope she feels a bit better today. If she has the bug I have she will feel awfull. Take care peeps and be lucky.

  • Good morning all, no pic as on ipad.

Enjoy your time in Dumfries, hope you manage a nice walk while you are there.

Glad you are feeling a bit better today Rose.

Thank you for the lovely pictures today.

Waiting on electrician to come and sort bathroom light out this afternoon.

Still waiting on to to come, apparently the post code had the first part of my old Durham address and part of this one, not quite sure how that happened so it went up there first and supposed to have been delivered back here yesterday. Hope it gets sorted out.

Good luck everyone for a good September.

Home again. Thank god todays chores are over lol no more till Thursday and Friday. (GS.s birthday). Can do what I like tomorrow which will be nothing lol. House is fine, fridge is full and may even pour myself a large gin and tonic. Not even cooking tonight, taking a lasagne out of the freezer. Anyone in the Inn winning? I have two tickets for Kirsties craft thing that is going on. Don't even remember entering as it is no where near me. As they are runner up tickets I would have even looked at that when entering.
