:hello: Good morning all


I had a very productive day yesterday in the garden - the
weather was glorious. :j


It's rained through the night and I think we're due more
today so it's off to the garage I go later to say hi to the
spiders and continue with the painting.


Sounds as if your DD and bf are having a wonderful
time sheils - celebrating their two year "going out
anniversary". Hope puddy cat sitting is going well.

Morning, wet start to the day here. I am getting paranoid about spiders at the moment as girl at work went to bed and one big spider dropped on her face! She said she run downstairs and slept on the sofa all night.. I haven't seen any yet but know they are coming in for mating. Hope Charlie keeps them away. I don't mind the little ones but big ones...yuk!
Well done on the book win leanfun, you can never have too many books in this house. All 3 of us read.
I have today off but unless the weather changes won't be moving out the house. Hope you all have a good day.

Thanks everyone re book win. Yes, I have been very lucky with book wins. I'm extra careful with entries after I win a sci fi book and I'm not into that. It's surprising with Goodreads as I don't enter that many.

Lo to spiders. We don't have many here but where son has been staying there are plenty.

It's very cold and grey here rain not started yet.

Hope you get a walk in and cat was ok Sheils. Let's hope your DD and Bf enjoyed their break. Time seems to have gone quickly since you set they were together.

Alfie hope you make good progress with painting.

day here but a tad on the chilly side at the mo - quite
autumnal.

rain that I started to think about constructing one of

It was absolutely tipping it down - never seen anything like
it!

Don't blame her for sleeping on the sofa for the rest of the

Got on quite well in the garage yesterday - slow but sure.
May take me a few more days yet - and yes the spiders are all
behaving themselves fire**fly - still find myself apologising
to them though!

Morning all,

Bit chilly here but rain has stopped (know what you mean about an ark Alfie) Did get out in the morning yesterday which was better than it had been. So hate being stuck in the house. Waiting for it to heat up a bit before we go for a walk today - sun is trying although looks quite feeble.
Dd got back about 9pm last night so cat duties are finished. They seemed to have a lovely time although the weather wasn't good. They had a nice night out at Comedy Club in Newcastle and some nice meals out.
DS3 driving me mad trying to make up mind whether to take one of other jobs he has offers for or stay at Gleneagles. He has been offered big pay rise and promotion if he stays so I think he is going to. He would have liked to move to Glasgow though so doubt he will say that much longer. (girl involved too!)

Don't know if anyone has been shopping in Tesco the last few days but they are wanting people to round up their bills to nearest 10p for charity.
I didn't know anything about it until Sylvia mentioned it so I checked my last receipt and mine had been rounded up without anyone asking. Only 7p and obviously I can afford it and don't grudge it but annoyed it was taken without checking it was ok. Anyway, have moaned on twitter and FB as feel the staff can't be trained about it properly as person who served me knows me well.
After moaning I went on Quidco and won £50! :j
Maybe I should moan more often

Thanks FF.
It just started on Tuesday I think and I think they ask you if you want it rounded up. Customer care says they had problem with tills automatically rounding bills up but fixed now! ( I believe them )
