It's still very hot here and like your way Alfie has been since very early this morning. No rain at all Firefly.

We have DS and GKs coming this afternoon in the train for the weekend. Then we are taking them back on Sunday. Hope it might cool down so we can do something with them.

Hope you're all ok on this 'glorious' Saturday. :undecided

It's still bone dry here so no paddling in the rain for me
at the mo! Although having said that ... it does feel
a tad cooler (or is that just wishful thinking on my part)
and we have light cloud but the weather report for today is
saying 'still warm and rather humid'! Ho hum.

Apparently on Monday we'll see some rain but I won't
get overly excited about that info just yet awhile!

Wonderful news about your DS and family going off on
their hols rose - hope they have a brilliant time. :T

I've been outside and watered plants, replenished bird bath
water, topped up bird food etc .... while it was still coolish.

Good Afternoon,

Sounds like you are keeping busy and enjoying the sunshine FF and Alfie.
We have been making the most of it too. Have had a wonderful break and have had great weather.
We were at Delamere Forest this afternoon. DH used to be taken there as a kid and wanted to see it again. We got back to car and put post code of hotel into Sat Nav and we were only 5 miles away from it. Knew it wasn't that far but was still a surprise.
Well done to all the winners and hope everyone is well.
