Lo to your rain Wing. Hope your DH is like our DS good putting together ikea. Last time DH did one for GS it took all day.

It's hot, hot, hot here. It was so hot we went to DDs at lunch time just to have half hour ride in air con car. I.e. Was 31 degrees as we picked GS up from school. We went into a TKMAX near his house as they have car park and air con. We hadn't been in that branch before and I usually don't like that shop but this was very well organised and I found a bright cotton blouse. GS found a Tshirt and a very heavy book with 1000 facts for GD to buy.

Thanks everyone, had a lovely day exploring the Gower Peninsula and a lovely meal at the indian restaurant along the road from the hotel. We are moving a bit north tomorrow up to Aberystwyth after a few stop offs enroute. The weather has been great but think it is cooling down a bit now. Not had air conditioning the last 2 days but next hotel has it so probably won't need it then!

Morning, no rain here and hot again today. Well done on all the wins over the last couple of days. I have today off so making the most of it and getting out in the garden. Son and GF off to london for a couple of days. Going to see Phantom of the Opera tonight so making the most of having an empty house...lol.

Morning everyone. another dull, cloudy and damp one here. Yesterday turned out sunny and really warm by the afternoon so hopefully we will have a repeat today. Need to get some food shopping done today so will nip out whenever. Neighbour took her puppy to the doggie parlour yesterday and it came back with a bow on its head. lol. Not keen on dressing up dogs or cats but I understand. Whatever floats your boat its your pet. Hope everyone is well. Be lucky.

DS phoned me just before I went out this morning. He has booked a last minute fab deal for Majorca. They are off on Tuesday. So he and GKs picked me up to go shopping while he went to bank for Euros. Took kids to asda, primark and Ds to Burtons for some things and did my shopping. Got kids some shorts and things DIL some sarong cover ups. Then went to bank and got kiddywinks some euros. Had to laugh at GD when she asked Gran can I have that bikini. She only wanted it for the frills that were on it. DS said ok as she didn't have one so she is now of on holiday chuffed to bits. She has had swimming lessons and instruction since she was 2 and always been told by instructer that she wears a bathing suit so has never had one. GS has shorts with pants in so he can wear them in pool and out so he is happy as well.
