Morning everyone. Bit dull and overcast again today. Love a BBQ ff sadly weather not good enough here for one. GK's are as high as kites and looking forward to their holiday. Hope everyone is well.

Yay! It's my kind of weather day today. Bright yet thankfully
with a lovely cooling breeze. Admittedly there's not been
any rain yet but I remain ever hopeful!

Afternoon peeps. Was speaking to a neighbour and she was telling me she had painter and decorator in to do her living room and hall. Saw him arrive this morning. She said he had took all his tools upstairs and came back down for paint and it had gone. Never saw anyone else. Seemingly he was lucky if he was up there for a couple of minutes and someone had stolen it. Don't normally have anything like that happen around here and at that time in the morning there are usually loads of people about including most of my neighbours heading out.

gosh, that sounds awful re the paint being stolen rose
can recall many years ago when we moved into a new
house & the chap who was doing some renovation work
for us left his saw out on the front garden for a few mins &
that disappeared!
we've had a bit of a thunderstorm this afternoon
heavy down pour for a good while with thunder rumbling near,
winds really up now so think we're in for more later!

Good evening all, hope you have had a lovely day. It was raining here most of the morning but cleared up this afternoon. Still pressing of with the bedroom, the trouble is it takes longer the older you get.

Shame about your neighbors paint being stollen Rose.

Sylvia more I think of it the angrier I get. If I was coming in with even one pot of paint I would really have a go at them. Just so sorry she or I didn't know who it was I was really angry hate anyone stealing. I can get it somewhere without food but please if you are starving or going without just ask. There are some nice peeps out there

Got home this afternoon and have one load of washing dry and ready to iron. Another load ready to hang out in the morning. Had DD up for glass or two of Prosecco and a catch up. It was a great break but must admit it is nice to be home!

Terrible the paint got stolen rose. I am always amazed here when the workmen leave their vans open with all their stuff inside and often the keys in the ignition too.

Finally had a decent win - £100 Ticketmaster (from Asda and Danone). Nice surprise to come home to.
