Not sure what the 'white list' is CM, but as stated, there's no time limit in the complex-or at least there wasn't last time I visited.Coupon-mad wrote: »What has her line Manager done to get the pathetic PCN cancelled and to make sure her VRN is on the white list?
This place is massive, people go there for THE DAY shopping, eating, browsing, cinema etc if there were a time limit it would die on its ar.....backside!
"Our car park is open to customers every day of the week, so you don't have to worry about parking whether you're visiting us for a shopping trip, eating out or visiting the cinema. We have 12,000 parking spaces - all of which are absolutely FREE. We have 350 disabled parking spaces, head to Pink car park for those nearest the Shopmobility Desk outside Marks and Spencer (next toTiger Play)."

Exactly, thousands of spaces with no time restrictions.Giant_Hogweed wrote: »Not sure what the 'white list' is CM, but as stated, there's no time limit in the complex-or at least there wasn't last time I visited.

You can even park your helicopter there!
From their website : "There's also!12,000 free parking spaces and direct access via rail, road and tram - there´s even a landing pad for your helicopter for anyone who wants to go on a spree with their lottery millions!"
How can Meadowhall punish with a £80 fine a worker at the shopping centre for parking in an entirely free car park that is open to anyone. I don't recall from my visits seeing any signs relating to parking or forbidding anyone from parking.0 -
As there isn't a requirement for staff to have permits do they have to submit their reg. numbers to the shopping centre management?sparky2002 wrote: »Battery was flat before she set off. Best thing is....she worked yesterday, parked in the staff car park and got a warning ticket for not being staff!!
It's all new to her this, she only got the job two weeks ago.
Surely they don't have a CP-plus operative going round the carparks checking thousands of cars to see if any are on a register of vehicles belonging to staff.
As coupon-mad has said, I would get your girlfriend to ask her manager to ask the shopping centre director Darren Pearce, to get this ridiculous attempt to extort money from a staff member.

I'm sure the fall out and bad publicity that will surely come from this, especially if it ever gets to court will not be welcome for Meadowhall.0
