All explained already in the sticky thread.
As above, how can this be confusing. The appeal is already written for you & doesn't take more than a nanosecond of work by you.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So is everyone else reading this thread, how about answering the questions posed in post #5?0 -
Thanks. I can't answer any of questions in post 5 as we do not know.
As stated, in post 1, she got there at 9, returned at 3 and found notice on the windscreen.
Car was ticketed at 10.21.0 -
why did they presume she was staff?
was there a staff permit stuck on the car
you could realy have fun with CP+
what if you said that "a driver" dropped your girlfriend off , and used the carc for an errand , before returning to the site to do some shopping , the DRIVER was not an employee and therefore was parked correctly
was there a staff permit stuck on the car0 -
One or two things aren't ringing true with this. If the battery on her car was flat, how did she discover this? Did she park up, go for her food and come back to find the car wouldn't start? Why did she just not drive straight into the staff parking area in the first place if she was going to work instead of pulling into a shoppers spot? (Not that I'm suggesting she'd done anything wrong, the ticket is a joke anyway as as far as I'm aware there's no time limit, it is essentially a free car park). Are there any signs stating staff MUST park in the staff area at all times? And she can't be in the wrong, what does she do on her day off when she's not at work if she wants to go shopping there? I'm going to have to have a look at the signage at Meadowhell, something isn't quite right (I did state on another thread that my lad used to park there and jump on the train to the city centre to work, and he never once got an invoice on the car, so i know there's no time limit) .sparky2002 wrote: »Hello, looking for advice.
My girlfriend(staff) has today received a parking charge notice from cp plus for parking in customer car park at meadowhall.
She has done this today as the battery was flat on the car. I was going to pop in to attach the jump leads once she'd finished her shift.
She's received an £80 charge on the windscreen, reduced to£48 if paid within 14 days.
She got there at 9.00am, had McDonald's at approx 9.10, went to the bank approx 9.20, worked 10 while 3pm.
Obviously, she was in the wrong but the charge seems a bit steep!!
Is there anything we can do?
Ironically, we're about to go back now to do some shopping!0 -
No permit, they don't have them.
I can only presume that they have noticed the car was parked before the stores open.0 -
why what time does the first store on site open?
EDIT:
is it time you can park up at clearly defined? , and WHY do they suspect that she is a staff member?
tell them to *od off
I do hope you have saved at least one recept ftom your evening shopping spree , and did you park in the staff area when you went back to shop?0 -
It's a free car park with unlimited time so it doesn't matter whether the shops were open or not. Like I said, my son used the car park for a number of months whilst working in Sheffield city centre, leaving it at 8am ish and returning at 5.30pm and never had an issue.0

Battery was flat before she set off. I jump started it using jump leads. As she only lives 3 miles away, I wasn't sure that there would be sufficient charge after it would have been parked up for 6 hours.
Best thing is....she worked yesterday, parked in the staff car park and got a warning ticket for not being staff!!
It's all new to her this, she only got the job two weeks ago.0 -
What has her line Manager done to get the pathetic PCN cancelled and to make sure her VRN is on the white list?sparky2002 wrote: »No permit, they don't have them.
