Hi is there any chance you could max the KB I'm trying to upload a new Avatar, but I'm struggling to get it down to 14.9KB

And the strange thing is my sisters signed up to MSE and hers is set at 32KB

I opted for the 80x80 pixels Matty, it was just easier for me. I am on the default skin - Blue and white. Maybe different on another skin.
Try changing your skin in settings.
If not post in techie - they always sort my problems out.

I'm fairly sure it said 14.9KB when I installed my avatar, but on re-checking under 'User CP' I see it now says: The maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 32.0 KB (whichever is smaller).

Mine is still at 14,9KB on both the new version and the old version but my sisters is at 32KB on both versions.

How strange! I have no idea how your sis did that. Do let us know, if you ever find out.

Well mine must be that. I just used the 80x80 pixels as it was easier.
Now I will tell you I had a lot of trouble with my avatar. I posted in techie, and followed the advice.
It was all to do with my default browser. I am all sorted now.
