Sales advisor told me to pay a charity one pound so there would be no interest. She had the forms on clipboard & she completed it and I just had to sign. Don't know how long she'll be there but check your local Safeways.

I went to the Pyramid Shopping Centre in Birkenhead today and the woman on the stall practically forced me to take it. Easy as Pie!!!

Just to reiterate Diane's thanks to the marvellous FRUITBAT!!
Went to Birkenhead today, signed up v. quickly, was told card would take 2 weeks.
Don't know if this helps anyone but I asked if there was a minimum income required to apply (as Barclaycard website didn't seem to know )
I was told they didn't know but you would automatically be issued with the standard if you didn't earn enough for the platinum and the offer is still the same, 1p on VISA £1 on premiership/mastercard
