Raymond,
I can't find the post you specify - is it in this thread?
Obviously I am not Martin, but if you can point me in the right direction I might be able to help.

OK,
I think it is quite simple - but Martin may confirm / disagree with my workings at a later date
Each month your repay £180, but your laon increases by the interest you owe so (I used a spreadsheet for this) you just need to figure out the interest payable each month, which you do by (in this case) multiplying the outstanding loan by 1.49% You then subtract £180 from the loan and add the interest. Then do it all again. The way the numbers balanced is by paying the £180, and then having a month before the first interest payment so the scale starts at month 0, where you pay off £180 from £6k
Month Balance Repayment Interest
1 £5,820.00 £180.00 £84.13
2 £5,724.13 £180.00 £82.70
3 £5,626.83 £180.00 £81.25
4 £5,528.08 £180.00 £79.78
5 £5,427.85 £180.00 £78.28
6 £5,326.13 £180.00 £76.76
7 £5,222.90 £180.00 £75.22
8 £5,118.12 £180.00 £73.66
9 £5,011.78 £180.00 £72.07

So Raymond lets get this straight.
In the middle of a thread about balance transfers you post a request for more information to help with something that you can't quite remember all the details of.
You get a couple replies.
You post another, in my opinion quite rude, request (demand?) in the middle of another discussion using a different name then expect everyone to jump to it?
I think that summarises things so far.
In reply to your original query (which I answered) I would have to ask have you read any of the terms and conditions which come with any of the credit cards you seem so upset about? If not then please go and do so. If you then have any specific problems with how the companies concerned work out interest I suggest the next port of call should be the credit card company. If you think you are being "robbed" then I suggest you take it up with the credit card company, the banking ombudsman and possibly seek legal advice.
The answers are all there in black and white, why don't you look for them before asking someone else to do it for you?0 -
Missed the stand at Safeway Piershill in Edinburgh. Can't find it in any other Safeway. Only one branch of Barclays in Edinburgh and they only have the £50 leaflet. Can anyone post me a leaflet please?0

I too recently received that unsolicited Barclaycard 0% mailer with min £25 per month spend mentioned a week ago in these posts. Is there, I wonder, any limit to Barclaycard's cat-skinning ways?? :)0

Since karenlsinging is obviously not replying to my private message offering a form I guess I can only announce here that I have a form up for grabs.
"No rate, or low rate."
For new Barclaycard customers only and has to be used by Sept 30th. There is no minimum spend stated, just that a purchase must be made (so this is equivalent to the 1p spend leaflet).
Send me a private message if you want it (click on the little letter and envelope icon to the left of this)
THIS IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE0 -
Mortgage Man,
Thank you very much for your reply and for the trouble you have taken to do so. It is a great help and answers my question.
May the Force be with you.
