Interestingly the S&P VIX volatility index is currently at it's lowest level in quite a few years. In the past, when it's got this low, a correction or crash has never been far away.
I've taken the opportunity to sell one of my riskier funds (HOT) today, giving me a 20% cash weighting, as I believe a correction is due soon, and I want to make some changes to my portfolio.
As the saying goes: "Be greedy when others are fearful, and cautious when others are greedy."0
