    No but you can be fined a grand for not informing DVLA about a change of address. Those are the only 2 ways I can think of them finding out. I already told my insurance as didn't want to give them an excuse not to pay out!

    And the fact that there may be a serious accident and the police spend a very long time trying to find your partner and loved ones to inform them they need to come see you in hospital before it's too late etc... tricky if your details are all out of date really...

    Morbid maybe, but then I deal with accidents every day and see how quick they can happen... :(

    It happened :( now going to be total of 3 months I think.

    I haven't actually changed anything but think I should do now as I could no longer use the trick of saying I moved out one month earlier and moved in one month later. Officially sold house Jan 30th and potentially looking at buying new one March 31st.

    Can anyone confirm what negative affect, if any, showing a residence for 3 months would have on my credit rating?
