Male or Female?

Not sure if this is the right board, however, I would like to see whether a user is Male or Female, under their user name. I often get confused on how to respond, to a post. Which results in me, having to either guess, or search through their posts for a clue.
Thank-you

I'm not sure if I'm male or female? :rotfl:
You, decide.
f&wFred - Where's your get up and go?
Barney - It just got up and went.

What if they are both? Or none? Or undecided. Or fluid? This just won't work here in a brighton.0

How often do you reply to posts about genitalia? Other than knowing whether to write he/she when posting about the OP (and that's making the assumption that somebody with a penis identifies as male, which isn't always the case), I can't see how knowing makes a difference otherwise.0

Many forums have the male or female sign by the user-name. I think it could easily be added as an option. Obviously people who don't wish to give away their gender, or consider themselves to be an exception for whatever reason could have the option to click on 'other'0

Third option - MYOBIts not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama0

I know of a fair few posters who have been mistaken for the opposite sex. It's usually quite funny when it happens.
If you're not sure, ask......as long as gender is pertinent to the problem/thread/subject.
Some people only exist as examples of what to avoid....0 -

Your username tends to give it away. Unless it's a double blind of course.I am not a cat (But my friend is)0 -

Yes, I have learn't to ask. I wasn't being contrary starting this thread. There was a newbie talking about stock piling food stuff etc. We were posting quite late, just the two of us. I then posted that a woman's work is never done. The post back said - but I am a man! No harm done, I just felt foolish.
