No, you can post in compliance with the forum rules, which, for example, specify:Because it is a internet forum

Interrupting a thread about airline reward redemptions to offer an inane comment about your personal tourism preferences is hardly keeping on topic - there are other chat-oriented boards such as the Money Savers Arms board and the Discussion Time board that were specifically set up for those who just want to bump their gums without having anything useful to contribute to the main boards....What's wrong with going off-topic?
The purpose of this site is to help people save money. So we'd prefer people to keep MoneySaving discussions on the main boards on topic. Taking them off-topic can be confusing for new users, while in discussions linked to from the weekly email, guides, news stories and blogs, it makes it especially difficult for people to find the information they want.0 -
Luke's article lacks detail and is slightly misleading in claiming his Club World flights were cheaper than economy. On top of the Fees and Taxes, which are over £500 per person, you have to add on the cost of the Avios. If you are using the BAPP Amex, the fee is now £195. If you are earning 1.5 Avios to the £ when you could be earning 0.5% cashback, then the Avios are costing you 0.33p each, so the 100,000 Avios you need to get to NY and back could have cost you another £333.
So you could end up paying £1689 (£1161 + £195 + £333) for those two Business Class tickets. Still a good deal though.
To get the most out of Avios, you need to look at the bonus offers and exploit them mercilessly. The best site to find out about those is http://www.headforpoints.com/
I earned 135,000 Avios last year, and they cost me £565, or 0.42p per Avios. My OH and I are flying to LA in business class in June. Its costing £1056 in fees and taxes, and £525 worth of Avios, so £1581 for two return tickets. An absolute bargain. All my Avios came from personal spend, no business expenses.0 -
Open an Avios account with Iberia. Credit it with a sign up to a survey site. Transfer your BA Avios over to Iberia. Get a cheap positioning flight to Madrid. Fly from Madrid on an Iberia redemption for signicantly lower "taxes".
(Doesn't work for redeeming the BOGOF Amex voucher)0 -

Can work for some, but you are doubling the Avios needed if travelling as a couple. And you probably need to factor in the cost of an overnight hotel.
Other options would be to start in the Channel Islands or Inverness where the APD is lower.0 -
Will any of the above mean, I Can get cheaper fights to
Spain or the Med Islands ?0 -

Many times I travelled to Taipei in business class for the price of an economy ticket (well premium economy). But then I flew so much with the airline in question that I was first in line for an upgrade if the flight was full. And I tried to pick flights that were "full", as my frequent flyer status guaranteed availability.
I've travelled to Saigon in business class for the price of an economy ticket. But then my girlfriend was the chief purser.
In the end, you will always pay somehow. Sometimes you get lucky, but usually these things balance out. You don't get something for nothing.0 -
