Anti-Money Laundering and Idenity checks affect

Hi
I have recently signed up to a few bookmakers and these are showing on my noddle credit report as having searched my file for 'identity checks' and 'anti-money laundering' checks. Though this has no affect upon my credit score that I can see, will affect my ability to borrow as I currently have several 'searches' on my file - or are these classed as 'soft searches' as they are not for credit purpose and therefore not visible to lenders at all?

Credit score is meaningless, so ignore it. Your history is what matters.
And only searches that are relevant for credit applications are credit checks.0 -
They're classed as soft searches so not visible to any lenders.I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards. I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly, and I can move and merge threads there. Any views are mine and not the official line of moneysavingexpert.com0
