LameWolf, I don't know if you have used other forums for support, but I use a good Disability forum, OuchToo (link below) that took over the space when the old BBC Ouch forum was withdrawn, some years ago.
There is a lot of non-judgemental and helpful support there, expert welfare rights advice from an adviser, and people who understand a little more than Joe Public does.
