Open vented systems are more likely to meet WRAS guidelines for bidets... It's us with more modern unvented systems that have difficulty fitting them...It cost about £120 to have a plumber connect it to the hot and cold supply. There are some reviews that suggest that it can't be used with a traditional open vented hot water system, but mine works fine.

BTW the issue is one of 'Fluid category 5' potentially getting back into the potable water supply (Cat 1)... https://www.wras.co.uk/consumers/resources/glossary/fluid_categories/0 -
Here you go... might be a bit above budget though!

Before you spend any money try using wet toilet paper with some liquid handwash. Put the soap on first.0

Wet toilet paper with liquid handwash is much cheaper and flushable.0 -
Sorry as I mentioned before ... in my experience it disintegrates and creates an unholy mess that then demands a trip to the shower or bath ...0

Even if you use liquid soap? You are using too much water or too little toilet paper or cheap or thin toilet paper.
Which toilet paper do you use?0 -

Bidets are not in fashion, but as I read on internet once if you got poo on any other part of your body, would you just give it a quick wipe with a dry piece of paper?
Certainly a good argument as well as other things for having one.
Seems a lot of people talk with distain and disrespect their A**
