Anybody know this supermarket's method of giving you the money?
Yes, its simply a case of you ask for it and then at the end of sale cashier should give you it. Tescos method is much better and I say that as a Morrisions worker.
Its funny How often this system fails to work correctly but we always got told that the customer is always right and so a till check should be done to confirm. This should have involved the tills being changed and if memory serves me correctly a report printed out from the till, I may be wrong about that though. If the till is over then customer gets the money brought to them, if its right then supervisor should still have appologysed for the time you where waiting. Although if its really busy it has been known for supervisors just to give people the money. Cashback should always be counted into the customers hand,(same with change) thats what we had drummed into us.
If you are really wanting to make a complaint then the best thing to do is start a paper trail. Write it all down and send a copy to head office and keep a copy for yourself. That really is crappy customer services from head office there even if the mistake was made!0
