GSHP-combining with other energy saving methods

Hi, we have a GSHP fitted that provides our underfloor heating and hotwater and also solar PV (4KW) which helps power our electrical devices during daylight hours but are they any devices/ methods we can combine with these to further save energy.
I have seen the "solar power dump" box of tricks that heat your hotwater with a low power immersion but have never found any info on how or if these could be combined to our GSHP hotwater cylinder.
Any other ideas out there that we should consider?
