In terms of the Tesco Bank credit card you'd earn 1 Clubcard point per £4 spent in-store on qualifying purchases so you'd earn five points per £4 on spending (4 base points and 1 TB bonus point) compared to the current account which will attract eight points per £4 on transactions during the period dated above.

I'd assume the disclaimer may well relate to using the Visa Debit card primarily as your Clubcard (cashier asks if you'd like to pay with said Debit card and you say I'd like to use another card thanks) instead of Clubcard/completing payment with TB.

Excellent news about the extra Clubcard points on Tesco spend.

If you value a Clubcard point at more than 1p that's got to be the best earning potential for Tesco spend.

Its not going to cost you anything, and as an existing customer, should be easier to open savings accounts, should you need them;)
