Have you researched the sounding area
Think about it, at bit spent on it and it would be lovely and still cheap, but there will be a reason for that.
The A47 might not seem a busy road for "outsiders" but people in Norfolk are not used to busy roads (we don't have many for a start) and at some point you will have to sell it.0 -

I'm sure the op has looked around. There's a bewildering range of large, prestigious, and relatively cheap properties to choose from. A Rightmove search for properties with 5 beds within 20 miles produces around a hundred hits within the same price limit. Given there's work to do on the op's property and the location, £350k doesn't look that cheap.
I like this one

We will cross the reselling bridge when we get to it. The plan is to live there till the children leave home. My eldest is just 3!
We have been looking for a long time. I work in Kings Lynn plus travel for work all over West Norfolk every day and my OH works in Norwich so know the area quite well. It offers us the space we need. Big garden not needed as we're not keen gardeners anyway.
The whole ground floor layout will be changed to fit us and what we want anyway so I'm not too bothered about the rabbit warren layout it has.0 -

If you are on the roads most days I would have thought being on one as you sip wine on the patio in the evening would be a no no......:rotfl:0 -
Wouldn`t this place be better sold to Travelodge or something?0

The reselling issue would affect how much I was willing to pay, not whether I was willing to buy at all. If you buy at a discount, you can afford it if you have to sell at a discount.
If your oldest child is only 3, I'd be very worried about the children getting out on the busy road. Maybe solved with an electric gate. I'd also want to close off the swimming pool. We had 5 kids, and amazingly despite our parenting they have all survived until adulthood.

Yep, not much they can do to fix the location of that one.0
