Vodafone - Issues getting a refund
I transferred my mobile number from Vodafone in early December 2016 to a different mobile provider using a PAC code which all went smoothly and after checking with them there was as I expected a credit balance due to be refunded from Vodafone on my account.
I called vodafone mid December and they confirmed they would arrange a refund which would take 3 - 5 days at which point it would be in my account. At this point I was perfectly happy.
2 weeks later I went to check that the credit has been refunded and low and behold there was no refund in my account, so again I contacted Vodafone who advised there had been a technical issue but they would submit it again. Slightly annoyed I agreed and they reassured me it would be with me again in 3 - 5 days.
Fast forward another 2 weeks and still no refund despite firm assurances it would be done. Again contacted Vodafone and they confirmed 'ANOTHER' technical issue had prevented it from being done. At this point I was getting very annoyed and they said they would put an another request and 'red flag' it for immediate payment and it would be with me within 48 hours. Having been yet again annoyed by their poor service and not following up on their commitment I want away.
You might think third time lucky but I'm afraid not. Anther 2 weeks later and no refund again due to 'ANOTHER' Technical glith.
I've totally lost patiance with Vodafone now. The sum of money involved is not a massive amount but its now becoming more a point of principle.
I've wasted over 3 hours so far dealing with Vodafone on this matter and have just been going around in circles getting the same reassurances each time about about it being with me in 3-5 days.
Any thoughts on what I should do to move this forward as although they admit a refund is due and they will process it they are not actually doing anything to repay the money.
