Toto Energy reviews: add your feedback

I never even became a customer and they have debited £323.80 from my account!
On 4th September 2019 LookAfterMyBills started to arrange a transfer to Toto Energy I noticed an error in the quotation given and I called Toto to discuss this, during the conversation with the rudest customer service agent I've encountered, especially one who is trying to get your business, I stated that I would not be transferring to them and they should cancel everything.
I then contacted LookAfterMyBills who confirmed the transfer was cancelled. I contacted Ecotricity who successfully put a block on the transfer.
Toto continued to call me and then I received an email saying they were still trying to transfer me but there was a block. I replied that I did not want them transferring anything. I received another email from them
"I have ensure that we do not apply for your supply again from today's date. The 24/09/2019. However if there is already an application triggered before this date the switch may still go through as you are now out your 14 day cooling off period."
I am still an Ecotricity customer.
Today I checked my bank account and Toto Energy debited my account on 11th October for £323.80
This is total theft - what do I do?0 -
Contact your bank.
And then dump lookaftermybills? If you weren't allowing them to make money from screwing up your energy supply you wouldn't have this problem to sort out.0 -

Called the bank (fraud dept.) first thing this morning, as it was related to Direct Debit they couldn't deal with it - DD Team then stated that I should attempt to get a refund direct first, if this fails they can make claim via VISA for a refund of funds.
Yes, I will be disconnecting from LookAfterMyBills after a conversation with them tomorrow - they are party to this in a small way, though I must admit they cancelled everything from their side within hours of my request - it was Toto who continued to pursue getting money from my account without a contract in place or any permission given. Very Naughty!
I've also, reviewed on TrustPilot and had a response from them... though I take this with a pinch of salt until I get the £$£ back. it's on the TrustPilot site named 'Thieves'
I've followed up with a request through Resolver.
I've made a complaint to the Ombudsman and will continue to pursue this once the 8 weeks timeframe is up.
Really boils my p*** when companies use unscrupulous business practices and feel they can work outside of the law. What a bunch of T***S0 -
Also, if anyone feels like it - check out Toto Energy on LinkedIn and get some access to their CEO and others who are sadly willing to put their face in relationship with such a company0

Aren't you concerned that LAMB chose to switch you to ToTo despite clear and obvious warning signs for some time now that they aren't a supplier in good condition? Don't they claim to vet their suppliers, that's the reason they say all suppliers aren't included on their comparison checks.
I think weflip had a similar attitude towards Toto, shifting as many customers as they could to the firm.0
