Housebound due to dog's separation/isolation anxiety

I guess that depends where you live to be fair. I lived in a tiny village, tiny shops, most people knew eachother, not really any vile badly behaved kids to mob the dog. Most people knew the dog more than me. No threat of theft, plus he would have probabky bitten anyone who tried to pick him up he didnt know.
But i do get your point, lots of places you couldnt do that. Clearly i meant if it was safe to do so.
Villages aren't immune to threats though - it would only take one person passing through at an opportune time.0 -

Those sort of muzzles should only be used somewhere like at the vets, they really are not safe to leave on for too long as they restrict breathing0 -
Plus Zara is barking for a reason - however annoying, it's a form of communication. If you force it to stop with that sort of muzzle, the behaviour is likely to find another potentially more destructive outlet. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

I'm sure she is taking advice given on board. It unreasonable to suggest anti bark muzzle and expect a grateful response.
Using an anti bark muzzle is very cruel as you are just hiding an underlying issue and i'm sure it would cause bigger issues0 -
