Have a look at Luxembourg. Plenty of flights and the airport is very close to the City.
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.
  • Gibraltar is nice as well if you like monkeys.
  • another vote for Kracow, I love this city going for the 3rd time on 5th March

Thanks guys, looking at most of the suggestions I like the sound of Krakow (mainly coz its cheap and I'm going alone). I might go during xmas for the markets for this actually.

Krakow is a wonderful city - easy to get around as well (I can recommend the bike tours - don;t worry, you don't have to pedal yourself).

Florence is beautiful and easy enough to walk around.

Vienna is dead easy for sightseeing. The trams take you everywhere you want to go, and are a great way to see the city

Another vote for Copenhagen - it's very flat so an easy walk and if you get peckish you can refuel on Danish pastries :D

Another vote for Krakow. The city centre is very compact and there is an excellent tram service. Food and drink are very cheap and Polish cuisine is very filling.

Just some additional info on Luxembourg.
Here is the tourist office site. http://www.lcto.lu/en
It is in English which is widely spoken.

  • Reykjavik. Easily walkable city and Iceland is known to be really safe - the crime rate is next to nothing.

I also second Copenhagen, Valencia & Murcia and would throw in Sienna.
