Leaving BT but where next?

Thanks for the advice so far guys. It appears that nobody is wanting to stay with BT. Are Talktalk really that bad?
###I will be staying with BT but i will attempt to make a deal again . Paid less 2016 renewal than 2015. My contracts end in July so i may just accept the increase until then . Prefering to keep LR and BB to the same switchover dates .
Personally i will avoid TT even if its free .0 -
would this be when my contract ends in March? I get hubby to apply?
It's what we did when I was still happy with BT's prices & service. I phoned up to ask why my OH couldn't have the same deal as a new customer (it was in her name at the time) and the person on the phone actually suggested we cancel her contract and I join as a new customer then. We weren't actually married at that point so maybe a different surname helped but it's worth trying maybe?
I used to do something similar with car insurance when we only had one car in the family. We would insure the car alternately each year in order to keep both our no-claims.0 -

Did you lose connection to anything or was the contract made out in her name as I only have just over a month left and if I have to pay the £40 or so cancellation fee I wouldThanks to all who post compsITV winners membersclub#20 -
I just rung BT again, and the deal I can get works out dearer that Talk Talk, but cheaper than Sky as will have BT sports
Sky was £47.41 unlimited download, standard tv bundle and unlimited calls pack.
Bt was the same with BT sports £45.99 then £48.20 in Aug because of BT sports costs.
Or I could forget the TV all together and go with just broadband and line rental at £31.49 with a new hub
A lot of thinking to do until 15th March when my current contract ends.
I did ask about changing to Hubby taking out a new contract with the £39.99 price online and was told would still have to pay £50 connection fee and may not be able to keep the number and could be out of service for a while.
They really do not make it easy for loyal customersThanks to all who post compsITV winners membersclub#20
