Is my passport linked to my credit rating

Hi All
Just a quick question... Can anyone clarify for my if my passport is linked to my credit score / rating. I opened a bank account sometime ago and the bank asked for ID which I provided with my passport.
If I open a new bank account in a new bank with my passport is my existing credit score visible to the bank.
I know my bank account and address are linked to my credit score, but is my passport? I've been trying to get an answer to this question for quite some time.
I'd appreciate any advice or knowledge
Thanks

No such thing as credit rating/score, those are made up numbers that only you and whoever made them up can see, not actual lenders.
Your credit file is tied to a person, not a document. So if the document has your name on it, and you will provide them with your address, it will be linked to your credit file.0 -

So does that mean my passport is linked to my credit file? Or not?0 -
Erm.......Your passport is identification. It has nothing to do with your ability to get credit other than proving your identity.
I have not seen my passport anywhere on my credit file....0 -
Ask your bank as to whom they pass details of your passport, and under what circumstances. While your passport number doesn't appear on the reports from the CRAs that you get to see (without paying a £10 SAR fee), that's not to say the CRAs don't have it in another database.0

I just thought I would clarify the parameters before I commented.
I have had my passport photocopied by several banks and they commonly photocopied all of the pages and not just the identification page containing my photograph. As I remember only TSB stopped with just the ID page photocopied.
So it is possible that a passport is relevant to lenders' own credit scoring but if that's true they are tight-lipped about it.0 -

I really don't understand how the contents of your passport would help in a lending decision.0 -

I cannot for the life of me see why they would want to do this. I don't doubt that they did, but why? There is no rational reason for it.0 -
Could this be something to do with the newish "proof of tax residency" and/or the number of visits to one of Trump's "favorite" countries? I am sure the CRAs will start showing this eventually.
Sounds paranoid doesn't it? But who would have thought that Mo Farah would have to spend time worrying that he wouldn't be able to get home to his family?0 -

I have absolutely no idea. Perhaps where I've been in the world is relevant. I am a very active foreign traveler, last year within Europe mainly France, Australia, USA and Russia. This year it's Vietnam and Thailand two centre believe it or not.0 -
A passport is used for identification purposes only.
Your Imaginary credit scores are generated, in differing formats, by all 3 CRA`s.
One has absolutely nothing to do with the other.
