That is NOT an update - that is the FULL 4Gb+ Windows installation file !!
'tis the way of Windows 10.
Every few months the 'update' consists of a whole new version, and I suspect you have to go with it, because I believe updates will eventually stop for older versions of Windows 10 if you don't keep with the programme.
(I believe in a couple of months' time for the original Windows 10.)

In 2013 - 3% of users of the internet - still used dial up

How many of them do you think are running Windows 10?!

I wondered if you could still get dial up and it seems you can - http://freeola.com/dial-up-internet/

I'm guessing they survive on BT's failure to provide ADSL everywhere but having to provide phones although this one emphasises anonymity so maybe there is more to it ???

IMO dial up was hardly worth using although I did have Compuserve through a company I was working with at the time it was so frustrating that I didn't bother much.

There are a whole lot of free ISPs on http://www.freebeez.co.uk/access.html
No idea how many are still going today ?
I remember using btopenworld in about 1998 and others such as Madasafish and finally Freeserve after this ...
    Freeserve (eventually) became TT
