Did they give you a minimum speed expected? (I believe this is a legal requirement? If they didn't then you may be able to exit the contract due to their breach of regulations ... check with OFCOM or CISAS?)

Technically it isn't free, as you're paying for it through your monthly service charge. But yes, Zen have a very good reputation.
