Lots of good wishes for your results - I can vouch for the NHS, they've just done an amazing job of mending me.

Thanks cherry. I have faith in them too and according to the nurse, if there is anything dodgy it is very very early so that helps ease my mind. I forgot about it until I went to get out of bed and was like  Very sore but will soldier on.

Made an small overpayment today to cheer myself up lol

Weather looks a bit more promising today at least

    Hi all

    Just realised I hadn't updated.

:j My tests were all clear :j

Well there is something but nothing to worry about. Phew!!!!

I'll be honest and say that my debt busting head went awol for a while whilst I convinced myself my life was over due to the scare :o
Anyway thank heavens it was all ok and now I can get back on track. Payday Friday so I will at least be a little less in debt than I was on Thursday :)

Will update figures as soon as my payments are all sorted

    Hope everyone is well

    :)

Feeling positive again today. Still a loooong way from the finish line but have made monthly payments and this gives me a boost. We are now in the next £1,000 down. Little things that mean so much :D

Need to keep the positivity going but it's so hard sometimes. One bonus is if we hadn't decided to bite the bullet and start to clear this mess up our debt total would've definitely gone up not down. I have to keep reminding myself of this.

Aim to make a couple of overpayments through the month as this also boosts my mood and keeps me on track.

Must do a food shop over the weekend but certainly need to write a list and stick to it like glue. I plan to only transfer what I need on to my top up debit card and this way I won't/can't/shouldn't/mustn't be tempted to overdo it.:o

That's great news! Both on health rounds and on money grounds. :)

  • I just wanted to say Hi :) I've been reading your diary the last few days and it's been really inspiring and informative, thank you so much for sharing your story and being so open and honest about the DMP process, I'm just starting out and it seems so massive and scary right now

Massive amounts of great advice on here, and people who will encourage and advise (and give the occasional kick up the backside when needed) :D

Wishing you luck, and hope that things go well for you. X
    I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy
