Great to hear you got a refund! That F&F is growing.
I've tried to trick for getting rid of mutating apostrophes but it doesn't work on my laptop. Sigh.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Hi all
In the words of Brittney Spear 'oops I did it again'
I've disappeared again and have no excuse as to why. Life just gets in the way and I haven't had too many exciting things to write about. I feel my diary has become drivel and I am just repeating myself
Anyway on the debt front things are ticking along nicely. No stress so that's good.
Our short term goal is doing ok. We or I should say DH convinced me not to clear it totally and to still aim for around June when it will be gone. :T
We are aiming for some F & F offers in the near future and have saved our PPI money towards that. I think it was partly DH not wanting to feel like we had no money again lol.
Otherwise things are doing ok and we are still in a positive mind. A long way to go but at least we're heading in the right direction.
Hope everyone is well, I need to catch up on diaries and see how everyone's journies are going.
Also had enough of this cold now. I like the winter but this is taking the mickey now. It's freezing

It's not drivel. Nice to see you posting and things are ticking along ok. I too got a PPI cheque yesterday, from a bank loan from the 80's! It was to buy a Citroen 2CV ha ha what a laugh it was too, my mates thought it was an hilarious car. Anyway have just got half the money back :j.Total weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Afds August 10/15. /8 Sept.0

Good to have you back motivated.
So nice to see you aren't stressed.
You seem to be heading along very nicely in the right direction!
arsenalbarnie that's a fantastic gain! Who would have thought your 2CV would have been paying you back all these years later!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

That's great news. Every little helps eh. My first car was a mark 2 escort. Had to use the choke to get it started :rotfl: It cost £150 and never let me down.Cherryfudge wrote: »Good to have you back motivated. So nice to see you aren't stressed.

Onwards and downwards with the debt cherry. However long it takes.
Thankyou both

Feeling quite positive again and totally back on track. It's so easy to become complacent with debt busting. Certainly realised I need to keep on top of things if I am to succeed.
I got into the habit of checking accounts daily and rounding down and transferring small amounts which soon builds up. I seem to have slipped on this and took my eye off the ball. So just checked all accounts, standing orders and DDs. Transferred some money around and rounded down all accounts to nice easy round numbers. Sad I know but it makes me feel like I am making some progress. :rotfl:
I even did an online shop for 2 weeks and overdone the budget. Not by a fortune but still overspent. Luckily I've woken up before I spiral back into old habits.
Friday tomorrow and I'm so glad. Will be forcing myself to go to Aldi or Lidl at the weekend or maybe tomorrow night depending how shattered I am and get back in the swing of it. Old habits die hard eh
Have lots of housework jobs to catch up on too. Not my favourite way to spend my weekends off but needs must and all that jazz

Glad you're feeling positive, keep it up!0

Morning all
I've had a lovely few days away spending time with family. On my own :T. Left DH and DS to it and they coped very well. It was a much needed break and gave me time to clear my negative head and get my debt busting one back on. I'm like Worzel Gummidge I change my heads regularly
Still plodding along here and waiting for payday next week so I can make some more monthly payments. Everything's been quiet on the creditor front so that must be a good thing. I think.
Our car fund and Xmas fund are going well and gradually building up
Also my healthy eating is going well and long may it continue. Been walking loads and even swimming. This makes my mood lift too.
The sun is shining and I actually get excited about being able to hang washing out. It doesn't take much to please me nowadays :rotfl:
I need to force myself out the garden for a tidy up but still trying to convince myself.
Must catch up on diaries at some point too.
Hope everyone is well

:hello: Morning world
Raining here again and pretty miserable. The weather not me
I'm still quite upbeat to be honest. Been swimming loads which I love and also eating healthy which I have to force myself to lovebut I have lost half a stone so far :T and I feel so 'motivated'.
Although the swimming is playing havoc with my skin and hair. Need to find a decent cheap moisturising cream for my face. Any tips or ideas gratefully received.
Enjoying the time off work but go back on Thursday and will keep up my healthy eating plan until I get to my target weight which is approx 1 and a half stone away. Must stick to taking my own lunches to work too. School dinners are _pale_
Payday Friday so will be making more payments and taking another small step forward.
