Awww! I confess I'm utterly ignorant about sewing machines (and the difference between WD40, which I have, to 3in1, which I don't). I inherited one, from the 1980s, and my sister tells me its made of kevlar. It might as well be a policeman's riot helmet for all I know how to work it - I last threaded a sewing machine at age 12, which was a while ago now! But I have ambitions ...
2023: the year I get to buy a car5 -
Needless to say, the sewing machine is still lurking on the dining room table. I am outside all day, doing stuff in the garden (well mostly) - these forum pages are so busy I could spend all day, just keeping up. I must away and get on with pricking out little gem lettuces into pots so they spurt on. The protective tunnel we bought (from Aldi) last autumn (to use this spring) came out of its bag to use and promptly disintegrated in front of us on the grass. DH had to get the Henry out to vacuum it up (I took a picture but too identifiable for here) it has made us laugh. Vacuuming the lawn, whatever next (the carpets? please?)??Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Thats appalling! Such a waste, of the money and the plastic. Glad you managed to laugh at itYou're doing so well in the garden - I didn't do anything there today, because of the whole delivery situation, but I will be tomorrow.2023: the year I get to buy a car5

I confess to being a lawn vacuumer. We do have artifical and it really lifts the pile nicely. I always make sure Mrs SJ is out so that I can give the hoover a clean before she notices!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......5
