Amex New application - Asking for ID and proof of address.

    Yeah it seems like they dont trust digital stuff that much for example they dont have any way to e mail them and dont even have a contact form you basically need an account to send them a secure message and if your someone new applying like me then you have no way to contact them through the website only option is phone or write to them. That can be slightly annoying when you have a computer background and just expect every website to have a contact form. I guess atleast its free to phone them. Hopefully its worth the wait.

    No card was sent out yesterday, It was the gold rewards card exclusively through moneysupermarket, card isn't available through the amex website, hopefully comes by Saturday. Il keep you posted, credit limit isn't that good, only £1000.

    Thanks. I guess its ok but considering the fuss they make I would have probably hoped for a bit more but I read somewhere they are good with increasing limits not sure if theyll make a fuss about it though. If I get approved Im only expecting a similar limit as well but I guess it would still help increase my overall credit limit. Thanks for keeping me updated Ill keep you updated as well. Hope you have a great trip to the US.
