    Actually my tree felling (previously described) was mainly done by my 73 year old Dad (with his much loved good value chainsaw) so I'm not that impressed by a spring chicken like you! I have noted from my own and friends' experiences that there is an affinity between the older gentleman and the chainsaw. So OP, find a dad, grandad or uncle, offer them an outing for their chainsaw, and that tree will be down in no time. Of course, an elder near and dear stunting around on a ladder with a chainsaw can be a bit harrowing on the nerves so psyche yourself up!
