    Morning All,

I hope that you're all doing well. I finally decided to get my head out of the sand and move some money around so that I could clear as much of my two overdrafts as possible, as the daily fee was a bit .

So with a balance transfer to a 0% credit card, to buy me more time to get back into employment, my PAD offering today is a massive £1,400. I've managed to clear the smaller overdraft and cut the other one in half :j so I am feeling much better about things. It was getting me down too much.

    Have a good day everyone,
    xx

For this major decision making in a very good way there is only one thing for it! banana_smiley_28.gif

Some great PADs being made lately and, just as important, some clear decision making on what to do about debts. Sometimes you get in a bit of a rut just trying to deal with things and it's always good to take a step back and check you are doing the best you can, getting the best rates etc.

For me survey money has ennabled me to make a payment of £25 to balance cc2 today please.

So true....in my debt free journey I often stalled or took a few steps back - good to have a clear look at what you are doing debt busting every so often and tweak/change a few things to get back on track!

So second these wise words - remember one of mantras folks! tis not going down that's the crime but staying down

    Blessings folks

    Hi All,

My PAD is my minimum payment direct debit of £25 to MBNA. This is now finally under £800 so I am starting to see the light at end of the tunnel :j.

Sashanut - glad that you're all better. I've never had norovirus but I know that it wipes you out too.

Erme - thanks for my llama :D much appreciated and I am sleeping much better since I've moved things around and I am actually budgeting more. I have had my head in the sand for far too long.

Sashybo - well done, reducing it by a year is an amazing achievement :T

    Keedie,
    xx

    Afternoon PADdingtons!

£115.00 for me today please :)

It's payday but I haven't done the budget for the month in full and all my debt is 0% so I'll just keep paying it off as and when through the month.

It's also my birthday on Saturday so hopefully I can make a birthday money PAD at some point :D
Let’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭
  • Hope no one minds me joining in! Purse round down so £1.19 into savings pot.
  • Hello!

    Hello,

Kirtsypoos it's great to know all your debt is at 0% at least, it takes the edge off! I am working on it, some of my o% deals end in the next few months so we'll see.

Sashybo cutting the date by a year is amazing! Well done!

Well my matched betting winnings are in my current account - well they were - I sent it straight to Barclaycard, all £388.84 of it :)

Wow sunshine that is an AMAZING amount! Perhaps I should have another look at MB - it just didn't make sense in my little brain last time I tried to get my head around it :o
