    Hopefully my savings account cheque should be cleared tomorrow then that will be another good chunk of my card off ...
    Can I ask guys if you use your savings to clear debt ? I did have around £6000 in savings but I have used this to clear some cards ..

    Morning everyone!

    £7 paid to credit card this morning, taking it to £999. Feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment as wanted a lot of debt cleared before our baby was due, and in fact we have cleared over 5k since January, but outstanding is;

    £999 credit card
    £1225 OD
    £59 Next
    £419 Water
    £366 Elec
    £799 Gas

    £3000 to my mum, but she's lenient with us paying it back.

    ARGGGHHH!!! :'( Feel like all my PAD's are getting no where, but then I just totalled up how much I've put on my CC since the 26th May and its £70 so that made me smile. Feeling a little deflated today :'( Amazing how mistakes you done years ago really do follow you around. Since January 2016 we've cleared nearly £20k, but feel like it isn't getting anywhere now with me out of work. x

    A lot of people say keep some money in the savings for emergency fund, but to be honest for me I don't. I would rather clear debt than have savings as I could have £5k in debt, or £5k in savings, both incurring interest, but the debt incurring more haha. x

    Thanks laou .. That's what I was thinking so used it to clear 2 cards and I'm chipping away at the others.
    My cheque from my isa should clear tomorrow so that's a bit more off (I do need to take cash out for kids guitar lessons though) x
