Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped! Debt-free and Proud!
    Hi guys
I know I'm probably a bit late seeing we are half way through the year but is there any chance I can join ?
I had my LBM a few weeks ago and I'm getting right into chipping away at the cards ...
I've used my savings to clear two so going to hopefully keep ploughing on with any spare money I get in and I think this would be fab to help keep me on track ...

    Thanks Lisa x

Really if you've only just had your LBM you are more than welcome to join. We don't start a new thread every year but more when the thread gets to 200 pages - more for admin than anything else

My mind is playing up with all this politics.... - there is no escape! 1984!

I like to pay bits off as and when I can, such as today which was just rounding my bank account down to the nearest £5. It can be quite satisfying to get a big chunk off the total too though so give both a try and see which one you prefer.

Thanks LMD .. I have a few things finishing tonight as well so fingers crossed the chunk should be a bit bigger tomorrow lol

honestly if its not nailed down its on ebay .. seriously though its all stuff that I either don't use anymore or haven't even taken the tags off (its shocking when I think about it) but at least im doing something now.

I like to see big chunks go, and would do it if I could, but if I'm honest, my determination isn't that strong, so for me I do things daily, 1. it stops me buying useless stuff, and 2. at the end of the month it really does add up! But you need to see what works for you. I would probably be more inclined to spend large savings as its there... willpower is hard! but thats why I choose to do things daily :-)

    even if its £1 a day!! still £30 a month :) Good luck x

    thanks Lau

I have made my fist daily payment .. yay .. £42.19 from my V card .. I had the 40 in my purse so nipped and put it in the bank at lunch time then I hate odd number so I decided to round down
I normally do a VSP with my current accouint because of this odd number harted but I think I might start putting it direct onto my card .. sounds funny (but good) rounding down.
Yay .. I feel like im a real part of the group now. Im hoping my ebay sales will take me to a nice number to pay off tonight as well ;)

EDITED to say Phone has just pinged and I have had a payment from a late paying buyer .. whoop hit todays target in pay pal but I am going to wait until after tonights listings finish to make the payment .. just wanted to share the joy .. yay x

Well done Lisa thats great!! I don't think I have much left to sell on eBay as we sold a lot for our holiday last month lol, but I'm just trying to make payments every day to stop me from buying stuff when i'm out and about! Im due our 3rd son in 13 weeks, so I've been going through all the clothes today and he has a hideous amount of 0-3 clothes, so I'm actually going to take some back to NEXT this weekend and exchange for bigger sizes to save money. x
