Morning, £5 to NW for me please.  My credit cards are now all paid off and one is in credit by £55 as I had previiously paid a lump sum and they also took the monthly direct debit.  The mortgage is my focus now and I'm on a fixed rate of 1.59% till March 2025.  I had a look at deals currently available just to see if it would be worthwhile paying a charge to move on to another fixed term deal and everything was over 5%.  Everything is getting really tight now which is a worry.

The PAD's here are quite something @LittleMissDetermined and @keedie and @cmd79 with your hundreds to the thieves of bootle 😀

    Indi x
Many congratulations!!! What a feeling you must have to be clear of it. Well done on all the hard work and determination to get there.  o:)

Yes, very worrying. There are going to be a lot of people who this is going to send over the edge.  :(

We've got a fixed until August 2025 at 1.79, but we have a Help To Buy loan as well. So as soon as I can clear my debts, I hope I've learned enough lessons to continue to clearing those off.

    Well done again!  <3

    Morning all,

The total PAD for 27 September 2022 was an AMAZING £3,097.05!

Thanks @LittleMissDetermined and @Doily94 for your big PADs yesterday boosting the total, and to everyone else who pushed our total over £3,000. As my late dad would say, "every mickle makes a muckle" (Jamaican for look after the pennies and the pound will look after themselves/every penny counts).

We learn a lot from these forums, but ultimately we learn a lot from our journeys, and it's okay to fail at something or need to take a different path or approach if things have gone wrong, as...

My PAD is £55.57 to my Barclaycard, and that's bringing my balance closer to the £9,000 mark. I'll be in the £8,000s for that card once next month's direct debit comes off too.
