Morning all,
The total PAD for 15 September 2022 was £238.33
Sometimes it can feel like we're light years away from our goals, but every small step, every action towards it must be cherished and appreciated. Sometimes you may feel like nothing is changing , or you're not making much progress, as you've only PADded £0.32 when someone else did £32. But you may not realise how far you've come until you look back and reflect, and realise that...

Morning, that quote is soo very true Keedie. So today is payday. Previously I'd get a buzz from knowing this but slowly I've seen a shift in my mindset and today whilst it's nice knowing I'll add to sinking funds etc it's just another day. I think the buzz came from the prospect of spending money I didn't have. Now I know what I have and where I'm sending it to. Every last penny. Long may it continue 😊

Morning, thank you all for your kind words on my previous PAD payment. I've sent 537.73 to clear my last credit card balance today. I'd used it to pay for a gcse (I like studying) plus fuel for the car during the month. So my cards are all at zero although I'm not officially free of them today as I'd thought....there will be interest to pay on one when the statement comes out.
Mortgage is the next (big) challenge.
Also, practically everything I earn goes into the house so as of today I'm going to squirrel away some pounds into my savings account. That will be a first for a long time. Indi x5
