Hello!
I've had a bill credit come through from a MSE broadband deal so £100 PAD to my winter energy bill pot. From October - March I will set up a standing order from my savings to my joint account to pay £100 each month. This and the governments £66 per month will help soften the energy bill increases. I've reached my goal but may increase it as I'm sure we can throw some of September's wage into the pot x5 -

Sounds like things are going very well for your winter fund @Deleted_User! I'm going to add what I can as credit directly to my Octopus account in the coming weeks. I've got credit at the moment, but it won't last long at all. With my disabilities, the heating has to be on all throughout winter and I'm dreading the bill 😬.
As you should be proud @CMD79! Every single penny adds up.
Back with another PAD as I paid the balance of £150 off my weekender trip next month and £0.71 to the PAD Pot.
So £150.71 additional PAD please.

IndiJonesi said:@Tiddlyteddy I used to smoke but gave up about 15 years ago. I mucked about with Nicorette which didn't work. The only way for me was going cold turkey and it took about nine months before the cravings completely subsided. It was really unpleasant giving up which was what stopped me going back to the habit. 300 quid a month remaining in your pocket would be luverly.22/08/2022

Thanks for all the stopping smoking advice. Love the internet dating tip, will see if the other half goes for it! It’s the worst thing I ever did when I was younger and just seem to be so addicted to it. I’m not bothered about alcohol just like the fags! Yuk, I know it stinks! I’d like the £300 off my cc though even more.22/08/2022
