Annoying pretend TalkTalk phone calls

Hi whenever I get nuisance calls purporting to be from various companies and they seem to know my name. I always calmly tell them to
'check my account and note I opted for all correspondence to be done via post or email and to write to me. As you already have my address and email details I do not have to give them to you over the phone. Thank you and goodbye.'
I than put the phone down and usually this works. I feel in control and the calls don't bother me anymore, and they seem to have reduced.

The trueCall plug-in box or the BT 8500 or BT 8600 series Call Guardian handsets will get rid of all unwanted callers, irrespective of caller ID or not, whilst still giving all genuine callers a chance to get through.0

I am the official company representative of Talk Talk. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. What if we are not customers anymore we cannot log in?0

Hi Justice13075,
If you're not a TalkTalk customer you would need to report any unwanted calls to your current provider so they can follow their nuisance calls process. We would not have any control over your inbound calls in these circumstances.
Thanks

None of the links to do this appear to be working. (I reported around 18 numbers in December -scammers went quiet in January, but have now started again).“Rain drops are not the ones who bring the clouds.”0
