thanks rs. will that be false economy. Min term i can see for finance is 12months. The interest will cost me more than servicing. Sorry Billy...i know u tried to explain me. Feeling really thick.

0% APR? How will that cost you interest?
  • duh.. yeah missed that. was looking at finance calculator on website.

You sign up for the finance, cancel it within the 14 days cooling off period and pay the car off in full.

You may not be able to pay a deposit with a credit card, many dealers don't accept them. Not sure why.

Before committing to that car, with that engine from that dealer have a look at the Volvo Owners Club online forum.

    VOC

Very well used board with lots of experience from people who actually own and drive the cars everyday.

It's split into models so you'll get to know the good, bad and ugly... which will help in decision making.

On the day you agree the sale they'll take a deposit.... Pay that by credit card.

Then when you collect, you can pay the rest by 'switch' and finance.

Most main dealers have a maximum they'll accept on a credit card but no limit for a debit card.

Its not that they wont accept them, its that they wont accept them without charging you a fee.

It costs them money to process the transaction.
